Concerning the two questions ”Accommodation in Umeå before start” and ”Accommodation in Umeå after finish” please select the option ”0 Nights” if you stayed in Umeå privately or in a camper van.
Concerning the question ”Accommodation during the ride”, please select the option ”0 Nights” if you only used the sleeping arrangements provided for by the organiser.
Concerning the travel and holiday questions ”A transfer bus from Malmö to Umeå and a packaged trip to the Arctic Circle”. It’s relatively easy to travel with a bike through Europe to Copenhagen and then on to Malmö with the airport shuttle Öresundståg. The tricky part starts in Malmö when travelling through Sweden with a bike as luggage. We are therefore looking into the possibility of organising a transfer bus to Umeå from Malmö Central Station, making a stop at Stockholm Arlanda Airport to pick up participants on the way.
For the MSR 2027, the transfer bus would depart from Malmö Central Station on the 18th of June and return on the 26th of June, the day after the Swedish Midsummer celebrations.
In addition to the transfer bus, we’re also considering a travel package to the Arctic Circle, allowing family and friends to accompany participants during the ride whilst simultaneously enjoying their own parallel holiday and making stops at attractions along the way.
The packaged trip to the Arctic Circle would start on the 21th of June (MSR 2027 starts on the 20th of June) and return to Umeå on the 24th of June.
