Follow winding roads through glacial river valleys, ride along the shores of crystal-clear lakes and emerald-green fjords. Cross endless coniferous forests and wetlands. Climb snow-capped mountains and endure the ever-changing arctic weather. Stay at selected lodges and hotels offering authentic hospitality and local cuisine. And after your ride, celebrate Swedish Midsummer and experience the living heritage of Sweden.

This event celebrates endurance, self-reliance and solitude; and not least the pure joy of cycling on empty roads, through timeless arctic landscapes in never-ending daylight; far, far away from the stress and hustle of everyday life.

Whether you’re a seasoned randonneur or a passionate cyclist seeking a new challenge, the Midnight Sun Randonnée lets you test your limits against the forces of nature. The Midnight Sun Randonnée always starts at sunset on the last Sunday before Midsummer. Next year, the sixth consecutive edition will start at 23:06 on the 20th of June.
